Harmon and Carolyn's community involvement over the years have ranged
from humanitarian family related projects to the promotion of better
communication through their expertise in IT comunications and Internet
systems technology.
They are members of the New Zealand Communications Institute dedicated to bringing the latest information technology to Australasia,
and as such have been working directly with the New Zealand Government
and the Electrical Utility authorities for the promotion of the latest
data and internet communications systems delivered on the power lines in
parallel with the regional telecom services. Combining internet
telephony, powerline communicaition and the various wireless
technologies to cut the costs of communications within the global family
........ this is their passion!
They are also members of the
Canterbury Investment Network, providing their expertise and resources
to encourage investment and economic development throughout the greater Christchurch and Canterbury influence area. Harmon also regularly offers his expertise and management skills to the business community for mentoring.
